Contains photographs of the following military units and organization: Medical Corps, United States (U.S.) Army; 53rd Quartermaster Regiment; 26th Quartermaster Regiment. General description of the collection: John A. Mills photograph collection comprises the service of a father and son: 1st Lieutenant William E. Mills, Medical Corps, 1918-1919 and Captain (later Lieutenant Colonel) John A. Mills, 1931 Reserve Officers' Training Corps (R.O.T.C.) to 1944. The WWI photos are of Lieutenant Mills and other medical personnel - doctors, nurses and enlisted men - at several different base hospitals stateside. Those of John A. Mills are of his R.O.T.C. training and then his WWII stateside service with several quartermaster units.
